At what age did you start playing golf and which club did you start at?

Started at the age of 6 years old at Alloa Golf Club in Central Scotland (Hidden Gem)

Who was / is your biggest influence?

My Dad for his pure love for the game

Which is your favourite Surrey course (apart from the one you are resident at) and why?

St Georges Hill, great setting and always in great condition

Which is your favourite course worldwide?

Shadow Creek in las Vegas, I played behind Tiger Woods and Hank Haney. Closer to home I love Monte Rie in Portugal

What course is on your bucket list that you have not played yet?

Augusta, went and watched the Masters a couple of years ago to celebrate my 40th, amazing place

What have been the highlights and low points of your career?

Any victory is a highlight, last year i won the Guildford Alliance 36 hole Championship, there is some great players names on that Trophy

What’s your favourite on course energy snack / drink?

Water

Which Surrey club has the best half way hut?

Wentworth

What advice would you give to the Surrey youngsters wanting to turn professional?

Do your PGA Training as soon as possible so you always have that to fall back on then give yourself a set amount of years and go and enjoy playing Tournament golf and see where it takes you.

What has been your most career defining shot so far?

I can still remember my approach shot into the 18th hole at Alva golf club on my way to winning my 1st county boys championship, golf was so simple back then.

What do you enjoy doing off the course?

Family and Friends Time

Dream foursome (living)?

Woods, Mcilroy, and my Dad who since moving down South when I was 19 I have not played enough with over the years

Payne Stewart, Ben Hogan and Arnold Palmer

If you could change one aspect or rule of golf, what would it be and why?

Golf has to become quicker, slow play will kill the game. So i would start with the top guys on the tv and bring in much harsher penalties.
