MACGRGEOR INTRODUCES V-MAX IRONS AND HYBRIDS THAT DELIVER ACCURACY, FORGIVENESS AND AFFORDABILITY

MacGregor Golf will make a long awaited return to the Irons market this spring with the launch of its new V-MAX Irons and Driving Iron. Packed with features that promote accuracy, forgiveness and control, the V-MAX iron range takes game improvement to the next level, while maintaining MacGregor’s reputation for high quality affordability.

“The MacGregor brand has an incredible heritage that has seen us in the bag for 59 Major victories, but we’re also known for leading the field in affordable quality.” said Graeme Stevens, Managing Director of MacGregor. “I didn’t want to bring back a range of irons unless we could balance those factors. So I’m delighted that in the new V-MAX range we’ve introduced some fantastic new technology that delivers forgiveness and playability, while maintaining a price point that every golfer can afford.”

Featuring an enclosed cavity back, high MOI and low centre of gravity the V-MAX irons assist with launch and forgiveness, while Kinetic Sole technology uses evenly spaced grooves to promote a smooth transfer of energy from club to ball even on imperfect strikes.

Dynamic flex on the thin club face delivers consistent distance while retaining a soft feel and playability not often seen in irons with this level of forgiveness. Accented colours feature on the back of the club and follow through with subtle detailing on the toe and lower most groove. A traditional top line inspires confidence at address and completes the impressive features that set these superb game improvement irons apart from the competition. Available as Men’s RH 5-SW with Steel (RRP: £249.99) or Graphite shaft (RRP: £299.99), and Ladies’ RH 6-SW with Graphite shaft (RRP: £279.99)

Designed for versatility, the V-MAX SPEED Hybrid will perform from the tee, fairway, rough or fringe, delivering distance and control wherever you need it. A low profile, confidence inspiring head benefits from high MOI construction and low centre of gravity, making this the perfect club to tackle shots from the rough.

But put it on the tee or fairway and it performs just as well, with an ultra thin face for improved ball speed and SPEED contours to reduce drag through the swing and improve club head speed. High trajectory, easy to hit and superb distance, this is the club for any occasion. Men’s right hand available in 18°, 21° and 24° lofts. Ladies right hand available in 24°, 27° and 30° lofts. RRP: £79.99
