England Golf is delighted to announce that Jill Thornhill has been named the recipient of the prestigious Gerald Micklem Award, recognising her exceptional lifetime contribution to the game of golf both on and off the course. Born on 18 August 1942, Jill (pictured above) began her golfing journey in the late 1950s at Purley Downs Golf Club in Surrey.
