When did you start playing golf and who was your inspiration?

I started playing golf at the age of 3 and my inspiration is Jason Day.

Do you have a favourite player and who would be in your dream fourball?

My favourite player is Jason Day because he never stops trying. My dream fourball would be Tiger Woods, John Daly and Jack Nicklaus.

2016 has been a great year for you, what have been your highlights?

The highlights of 2016 have been winning the Sir Henry Cooper Masters as it is an international event and playing for England in Spain and at the Home Internationals. I also enjoyed playing in the Daily Telegraph Junior finals in Portugal.

Are there specific areas of your game that you work on and how do you monitor your results to try and identify any concerns you have?

I monitor my golf through improvement and keeping a record of my rounds. If I feel that an area is not good enough I will make sure I work on it and I can identify these areas by using the stats I have and talking to my Coach, Ian Clark (ianclarkgolf.co.uk).

What are your goals for 2017 and beyond?

My goals for 2017 are to win a national title and take my golf to a higher level. One day I wold like to play on the LPGA Tour and be the best golfer I can be.

What advice would you give young players just starting on their journey in golf?

If you love the game you need to work hard and keep trying to get better and never let anyone tell you what you will be able to achieve because if you work hard enough anything is possible!

We wish Annabell all the best for the future and will watch her progress with interest!
